I was born in
September 22, 1971 in Beirut city - Lebanon where, I spent my childhood.
I graduated from high
school in 1989.
From 1990 to 1996 I
attended Kiev International University for
Civil Aviation (KIUCA-Computer
& Science Faculty) in Ukraine, and I was awarded an engineering diploma and a
masters of Science degree in computer and network engineering.
After I graduated, I
came back to Lebanon and worked for LibanCell
(GSM operator associated with Finland Telecom). I worked as a Switching Engineer and then
got promoted to a System Administrator.
From Lebanon I went to
Lagos-Nigeria and stayed there for about two years. I worked in a Telecommunications
company (Motophone - Celia) and occupied the
position of switching O&M manager. This company was the first who has brought the GSM
system into Nigeria, but due to problems with the government, the GSM license was revoked,
and went back to Lebanon in October 2000.
After coming to Lebanon I worked in a telecommunications company (Global Telecommunications Ltd.), where I was occupying the position of Technical Manager.
From Lebanon I went to Ireland after signing a contract with Ericsson Ltd., where I am working now as a Project manager.
